Piers Atkinson & David Morris collaboration launch

My favourite milliner Piers Atkinson’s sent me a lovely Valentines day card this year...  an invite to a Champagne reception on Bond Street to celebrating his new Love collaboration with the jeweller David Morris and on Valentines day too how devine. I however had barely stepped of the plane of a 6 hour flight from New York and was not feeling quite so fabulous. But after being greeted by PR extrodinair's Ella Dror and Ashley Smith of Ella Dror PR, one glass of rose' Champagne and a pink cup cake later I was in a much better mood, I could not think of a better way to celebrate Valentines day!

Piers' Showcased a select few of his new hat pieces from the new A/W 12 collection 'Oh My!' as well as his brand new lookbook debut. The hat pins and diamond heart  dog collar created by David Morris were either worn by models at the event or by Piers himself who even doned a claret trilby with cupid arrow and love heart pin, and when not worn these were all placed carfully back in to the bulletproof glass cabinets for safe keeping.

Well all I can say is for next year I would very much like a hat pin in my goody bag too please!

Last night we were lucky enough to view the premier of Piers Atkinsons fashion film for Machine-A, Directed by James Barnett & Poppy French and featuring model Aaron Frew.

Pimped Peaches Wheelchair

Last Sunday was pretty intense, having found out on Saturday night that Peaches had hurt her leg, she asked me and Richie Kuncyusz if we could pimp her ride for Lovebox the following day, well I couldn't say no to a Peaches in a wheelchair so we went to the Hoxton hotel Sunday morning and pimped it up with Pink spray, some gold mirror tile trims and a hairy throne detailing, it was a beauty! We arrived at Love box to an audience on entry at the Artist back stage area where the wheelchair caught a bit of media attention including the lovely Fred Butler who blogged about it in her report on Lovebox check it out here. The rest of Lovebox was super fun and of course Grace Jones Rocked it, although I have o say I think she could do with a new set and a couple new costumes, they were the same ones she wore at Latitude last year....shamed!!! Now I know that she is obviously holding out for a bit of Piers Atkinson or maybe she was wrangling for some Noki knowing that super stylist Kim Howells was styling his show that day on the same stage!

Piers Atkinson sent me this link for Vogue Italia.com where Sara Maino had picked one of his hat's for her talent section. The picture was taken at London fashion week where I had made some specialist mannequins for Piers display stand. This one in particular was for Piers Bonnie Tyler inspired faster than the speed of a laser light manaquin. More imposrtantly what on earth will the forthcoming London Fashion week in Septemeber hold for us all.
